The EAR Yoshino 868PL is a valve preamplifier that combines line-level control with a built-in moving-magnet and moving-coil phono stage. It provides five RCA line inputs, one balanced XLR input and a dedicated RCA phono input.

Outputs include two RCA line connections, two balanced XLR connections and an RCA tape monitor. EAR specifies four PCC88/7DJ8 valves, with selectable moving-coil impedance options of 4, 12 or 40 ohms.
