Leben CS-60T Step-Up Transformer
The Leben CS-60T is a passive step-up transformer for low-output moving-coil phono cartridges, raising their signal to a level suitable for a moving-magnet phono stage. It uses custom Permalloy-core transformers made in Japan and a direct-connected signal path without a selector switch.
The left and right transformers are enclosed in an aluminum block, surrounded by a steel outer chassis and aluminum base for shielding and stability. Natural-walnut side panels and wooden insulators provide mechanical damping.
Handmade in Japan: Leben products are handmade in Japan by experienced craftspeople using carefully selected components and point-to-point wiring.
