The Leben RS-30EQ is a moving-magnet vacuum-tube phono preamplifier using a CR-type, non-feedback RIAA equalization network. Two GE JAN 12AT7A tubes provide gain, with a GE 6X5GT used in the power supply.

An Orient-core power transformer is shielded to reduce hum around the low-level phono circuit. The input is set for the standard 47-kilohm moving-magnet load, and the circuit is specified for RIAA accuracy within ±0.2 dB.

Handmade in Japan: Leben products are handmade in Japan by experienced craftspeople using carefully selected components and point-to-point wiring.
