NAD MDC2 BluOS-D Module
The NAD MDC2 BluOS-D is an expansion module for compatible NAD integrated amplifiers, including the C 379, C 389, C 399 and C 3050. Its bidirectional MDC2 architecture allows the module to receive audio from the host component and return processed audio, so room correction and multi-room distribution can be applied to connected sources as well as streamed music.
BluOS provides network streaming at resolutions up to 24-bit/192 kHz, access to supported music services and integration with other BluOS players. The module also adds Apple AirPlay 2, Spotify Connect, TIDAL Connect and two-way aptX HD Bluetooth. Dirac Live Limited Bandwidth room correction, a calibrated setup microphone and storage for up to five correction profiles are included; a full-bandwidth Dirac upgrade is optional.
