The Nagaoka MP-200 is a boron-cantilever cartridge in the moving-permalloy range, pairing a boron cantilever with a 0.4 × 0.7 mil elliptical diamond stylus.

With 4.0 mV output, it is intended for a moving-magnet phono input—not a low-output moving-coil setting. Nagaoka specifies a 1.5–2.0 g tracking force and 47 kΩ loading. The JN-P200 stylus assembly is replaceable, so the cartridge body can remain in service when the stylus needs renewing.
