QUAD 3 CDT

The QUAD 3 CDT is a dedicated CD transport designed to read CD, CD-R and CD-RW discs and send a digital signal to an external DAC or compatible amplifier. Its high-precision shielded disc mechanism is managed by a custom servo-control system, while a temperature-compensated crystal oscillator provides the master clock.

An isolated power supply with low-noise regulation supports the transport's critical circuitry. Coaxial and optical digital outputs provide connection to a DAC, and a 12-volt trigger allows coordinated power control within a matching QUAD system. The compact silver chassis is designed to partner the QUAD 3 integrated amplifier.
