The QUAD 3 is a compact integrated amplifier designed to serve as the centre of a modern two-channel system. It combines analogue inputs with a low-noise moving-magnet phono stage, HDMI ARC, coaxial and optical digital inputs, USB audio, and Bluetooth 5.1 with aptX and aptX HD.

Its Class AB amplifier delivers 65 watts per channel into 8 ohms and 100 watts into 4 ohms. An ESS ES9038Q2M DAC handles digital playback, while a dedicated current-feedback headphone amplifier supports private listening. QUAD's bass and Tilt controls provide subtle tonal adjustment, and preamplifier and 12-volt trigger outputs support integration into a larger system.
