The Rega Aethos is a dual-mono integrated amplifier rated at 125 watts per channel into 8 ohms and 156 watts into 6 ohms. Its Class A discrete preamplifier circuitry is supplied separately from the driver stages, while four high-current output transistors per channel provide the power-amplifier stage.

Five line inputs are joined by a switchable direct input, record output, preamplifier output and headphone socket. A custom toroidal transformer, regulated supplies for sensitive stages and a substantial aluminium case support a design intended for demanding full-range systems.
