Rega Aura MC Reference Phono Stage

The Rega Aura is a reference moving-coil phono preamplifier built as a three-stage, symmetrical circuit. Its first stage uses parallel-connected low-noise FETs, the second stage handles the active low-frequency portion of RIAA equalization and the third stage provides a balanced output.

Selectable resistance, capacitance and gain settings support a wide range of low-output moving-coil cartridges. The signal path uses polypropylene capacitors, while relay switching controls gain, mute and mono functions and each amplification stage receives a localized power supply.
