The Rega Nd3 is a moving-magnet phono cartridge developed around a neodymium magnet generator and miniaturized parallel coils. It uses a bonded elliptical stylus, has a nominal output of 5–6 mV and tracks at a recommended 1.75 g.

Rega’s three-point fixing system provides the additional mounting point used by compatible Rega tonearms, helping establish cartridge alignment without a separate alignment procedure. The Nd3 can be purchased as a cartridge upgrade or supplied factory fitted to selected Rega turntables.
