The Rega Nd5 is a handmade moving-magnet phono cartridge built around an N55 neodymium magnet and a low-inductance generator with miniaturized parallel coils. Its aluminium cantilever carries a perfect elliptical nude-diamond stylus, while the rigid glass-filled PPS body uses Rega’s three-point mounting system.

The cartridge has a nominal output of 5–6 mV and a recommended tracking force of 1.75 g, allowing it to work with conventional moving-magnet phono inputs. It can be installed as an upgrade or supplied factory fitted on selected Rega turntables.
