The Rega Planar 1 is a belt-drive turntable that makes starting a vinyl system straightforward. Its hand-assembled RB110 tonearm has preset bias and comes fitted with Rega’s Carbon moving-magnet cartridge, simplifying initial setup.

A 24-volt low-noise synchronous motor drives the phenolic-resin platter through an Advanced EBLT belt. Choose from the available Matte Black, Matte White or Walnut-effect finishes. Connect it to a moving-magnet phono input or a separate MM phono stage; amplification and speakers are required for playback.
