The Rega Planar 2 is a belt-drive turntable built around the RB220 tonearm and a 10 mm Optiwhite glass platter. It is supplied with Rega’s Nd3 moving-magnet cartridge factory fitted, combining a bonded elliptical stylus with Rega’s three-point mounting system.

Its 24-volt low-noise motor and Advanced EBLT drive belt are designed for stable rotation, while the rigid lightweight plinth and low-friction tonearm bearings help the stylus follow the record accurately. Choose from the available Black, Walnut-effect or White finishes. A moving-magnet phono input or separate MM phono stage is required.
