The Rega Planar 6 is a belt-drive turntable built around an ultra-light Tancast 8 foam-core plinth with a rigid high-pressure-laminate skin. Its hand-assembled RB330 tonearm, machined aluminium sub-platter and dual-layer glass platter form a low-mass platform designed to control unwanted vibration while maintaining accurate record speed.

Each Planar 6 is supplied with a hand-matched Neo MK2 power supply for electronic 33⅓/45 rpm speed selection, fine speed adjustment and motor vibration control. Choose from the available Black or White configurations, with no cartridge, an Nd5 or Nd7 moving-magnet cartridge, or an Ania Pro moving-coil cartridge. Match the chosen cartridge to a compatible MM or MC phono stage.
