REL Classic 98 combines a natural Walnut veneer cabinet with a sealed, down-firing design. Its 10-inch pulp-on-paper driver is powered by a 300-watt RMS Class D amplifier, with specified low-frequency extension to 27 Hz at −6 dB.

High-level Speakon, line-level RCA and dedicated LFE connections support integration with stereo and home-theatre systems. The downward-facing driver keeps the front of the cabinet free of a grille, complementing the understated wood finish. A 10 m high-level cable is included. Optional wireless hardware is sold separately. Priced individually.
