REL Classic 99 combines a natural Walnut veneer cabinet with a sealed, down-firing design. Its 12-inch pulp-on-paper driver is powered by a 450-watt RMS Class D amplifier, with specified low-frequency extension to 24 Hz at −6 dB.

High-level Speakon, line-level RCA and dedicated LFE connections support integration with stereo and home-theatre systems. Compared with Classic 98, the larger driver, higher amplifier power and deeper specified extension make Classic 99 the step-up model. A 10 m high-level cable is included. Optional wireless hardware is sold separately. Priced individually.
