The Sugden Masterclass ANV-50 is a 50-watt integrated amplifier built around a pure Class A input amplifier and a Sugden error-correction output stage. Its power section delivers 50 watts per channel into 8 ohms and 100 watts per channel into 4 ohms.

Five relay-switched line inputs, a variable preamplifier output, tape output and remote volume control support a straightforward two-channel system. The amplifier uses a fast switching supply and enters a low-consumption state when no input signal is present.
