The Sugden Masterclass MPA-4 is a fully balanced pure Class A monaural power amplifier, supplied as a pair for stereo operation. Each amplifier delivers 165 watts into 8 ohms and provides a balanced input with a single pair of locking loudspeaker binding posts.

The two-chassis arrangement gives each channel its own amplifier and power supply, providing substantial headroom and separation.
