The Wharfedale AURA 3 is a slimmer three-way floorstander, using two 130 mm glass-fibre-matrix bass drivers beneath a dedicated 100 mm midrange and 27 × 90 mm Air Motion Transformer tweeter. Its 246 mm-wide cabinet offers a smaller footprint than the AURA 4.

Its AMT uses a folded diaphragm rather than a conventional dome tweeter. A separate midrange driver divides the vocal range from the bass drivers. Specified frequency response is 39Hz – 22kHz (±3 dB). It is supplied as a stereo pair. Available finishes are Hi-Gloss Black, Hi-Gloss Walnut, Hi-Gloss White.
