The Wharfedale ELYSIAN 2R is a substantial three-way standmount, with a 220 mm coated-glass-fibre woofer, dedicated 150 mm midrange and 27 × 90 mm Air Motion Transformer tweeter. Its 700 mm-high cabinet accommodates a driver complement more often associated with a floorstander.

Its AMT uses a folded diaphragm rather than a conventional dome tweeter. A separate midrange driver divides the vocal range from the bass drivers. Specified frequency response is 35Hz - 22kHz (±3 dB). It is supplied as a stereo pair. Available finishes are Black, Grey, Light Walnut.
