The Wharfedale Linton Heritage is a substantial standmount loudspeaker built around a three-way design rather than the two-driver arrangement found in many compact speakers. A 200 mm woven-Kevlar bass driver works alongside a dedicated 135 mm Kevlar midrange and 25 mm soft-dome tweeter in a bass-reflex cabinet.

Its traditional wide-baffle proportions accommodate a larger bass driver without requiring a floorstanding cabinet. Frequency response is 40 Hz–20 kHz (±3 dB), with bass extension to 35 Hz at −6 dB. Supplied as a stereo pair; choose Speakers Only or With Stands in Walnut, Black Oak or Mahogany Red.

Why I love it

The Linton is one of those speakers that makes listening easy to settle into. It has warmth and musical weight without losing the shape of a recording, and its generous cabinet gives music a natural sense of scale. The design looks back to classic Wharfedale, but the reason to choose it is how convincingly it works in a modern system.
